Dear Future Me

Dear Future Me,

           When you see this letter, you will be watching Suneung. You’ve come a long way, I hope you’ll give it your best during the test. You’ll probably see this letter after taking Suneung, you probably won’t even care about a letter you wrote for yourself in the past; Suneung is over! Get some rest, and if you messed up, just don’t think about it for the day. If, I would like to say, unlucky, you could need to study for Suneung one more time, but let’s not think about it right now. What’s important is that you made it, and that’s all you have to think about today.

           How was your 2020? Of course, it would have been a difficult year. But, if you learned something in the process, I believe that would be just fine. All in all, I know you tried your best. You did well.

           I hope you didn’t fight with any of your friends because of the upcoming Suneung stress. Once you fight with friends at this time period, it is hard to soften the relationship once again. I hope you keep that in mind. Friends at this point can go on forever, and I know you will want to keep up the good relationships with your precious friends.

           Be happy. That’s all I want to tell you. It doesn’t matter whether or not you got into university, have a girlfriend, or many other things your pears would usually want. Of course, it would be sad and somewhat depressing when you do not succeed in either of these ‘tasks.’ However, life is long. People each have their ‘time period’ when they blossom. Don’t think the world will end just because of ‘not succeeding.’ Be happy.
