IMHO: BTS is the worthiest representative of K-Pop and they are having a very positive impact on the world
People whispering in excitement. The "tension" builds up. A second later,
"You can't stop me loving myself~"
Next comes the tremendous roar of the crowd.
The 7 men on stage form a group BTS, one of the most famous groups in the K-Pop industry and will no doubt be "recorded" in the history of music.
Although some may deny that K-Pop is well-known to the world in the status quo, there is no doubt K-Pop is a growing industry. Of course, since BTS is by far the most famous group in Korea, people would say that BTS is the worthiest representative of Korea. I agree. Who wouldn't? Yes there are many other famous groups such as EXO, Blackpink, and Twice, but when selecting the "worthiest" representative of K-Pop, I believe it is right to choose the group that has the highest level of awareness internationally (This does not mean that BTS has more "value" than other groups).
Being the worthiest representative of K-Pop, the "BTS phenomenon" sweeping through the world is definitely having a positive impact. When reading comments in Youtube, BTS has helped tons of people in many ways. Some, visual entertainment. Some, auditory entertainment. Some, a combination of both. But most of all, what seemed to me the best "cure" BTS was giving was that people were able to get less depressed after hearing their music; music that makes people happy, the type of music that would spread throughout the world with praises. Who would deny BTS is a pain in the neck for the world?
I agree. My wife is army (sort of, though she isn't actual army). At first I told her BTS was just lucky, and that their music was just better-than-average K-Pop that seemed like the rest. In some cases that is true, but they do have some legitimately catchy and excellent songs (though I do think the army manages to make their average stuff seem amazing when it would barely be noticed if anyone else did it (I'm sorry - but SUGA Interlude is overrated). I do wonder if they are making too much money and allowing their management etc. to exploit the army fans who will buy every single thing they endorse. Hmm. Well thought out post.
